Is this a zechus for Abraham penstein z"l? to talk about the "making of a controversy" in shul? Why not spout your kefirah in Temple Bethel El, l'illui nishmas "rabbi" Laura goldberg or some other reform kofer? The rabbis were right to ban your books. crawl into a hole and start doing teshva!

Wow. I'm really surprised. I thought you wouldn't post my obnoxious comment.

Why wouldn't I post it? It only reflects badly on you, not me. You don't even know what I spoke about! Actually, I defended the Gedolim's approach to my books, and did so much more effectively than anyone else had done. It's always intriguing to me that I am able to speak respectfully about my opponents, while people such as yourself often stoop to coarse insults.

By the way, why don't you post comments under your real name?

Really? You defended your opponents? You couldn't have defended them too well, or else you'd stop writing and selling your books.

Yep, there's no doubt that you stand for reason, truth, and justice in a world gone mad and reverting to fundamentalism.

I don't post under my own name, because then I wouldn't be able to push people's buttons with obnoxious comments like the one above. Yes, I admit that it's a juvenile pleasure to rile people up pointlessly, but it's a pleasure I like to indulge in every now and then. (You didn't get riled up. Thumbs up to you).

Anyhow, I'm not really anonymous. In the blogs that I comment on regularly, I'm known as "e."

All in the name of defending the Gedolim, Torah-true Judaism, and fulfilling the ratzon Hashem, eh?

On a serious note, how did you defend you opponents, those backwards, head-in-the-sand, anti science and anti free inquiry fundamentalists? Was it along the lines of "they mean well, but they're wrong"?
